How often should electrical test equipment be calibrated?

Most manufacturers and quality systems recommend a 12-month calibration interval, though high-use or safety-critical instruments may need it more often. We can set a recall interval to match your requirements and remind you before it is due.

Do you calibrate insulation testers, earth testers or appliance testers?

Not at present. Those instruments apply high test voltages and heavy earth-bond currents, which need a dedicated tester calibration adapter rather than a general-purpose calibrator. We would rather say so than issue a certificate we cannot stand behind — tell us what you have and we will point you to a lab that covers it.

Can you calibrate multimeters and clamp meters on-site?

No. Multimeters and clamp meters are calibrated in our Caversham lab, where we can control conditions and use our full set of reference standards. To keep it easy, you can drop equipment in, or we can collect it and return it to your door with its certificates.
